Fostering A Healthy Relationship With Food

In a culture where we often dichotomise foods into “good” and “bad”, I feel that we can over identify with our food choices inflicting feelings of guilt, shame and judgement. This may lead to restrictive eating behaviours, food pre-occupation and an all-round negative experience, in what should be biologically necessary, positively relaxed and enjoyable.

Our relationship with food can be tied up into many aspects of our self; our up-bringing, our food environment, relationships and much more. Working on our relationship with food with self-compassion and dismantling aspects of “diet-culture” are some of the steps I can help you with on your path to a more flexible and happier approach to food.
